BIO:
It's more to look back and see what I've done on my Fishing journey (since I've missed a lot of years Fly Fishing in the Mid 90's to 2017) I did a little bait fishing which I do with my Dad, he don't fly fish.
Well, I’ve been Fly Fishing / Fly Tying since I was 7-8 yrs old (3-4 Grade) and practicing on school grounds on the the grass in the early 1970’s with my best friend Pat, we started to tie flies as well, fished every weekend or every other weekend.
Rods & Reels - Early 1970’s, Rod / Reel Set up - Pflueger 1972 Medalist Graphite Fly Rod, 55 Gram shaft, No. 6 Line (Fly Line Weight), 8'6", and GMF 486 and a Pflueger Medalist 1492 ½ 1972 Shakespeare which I still use from time to time, now I have an ORVIS (Clearwater and Recon) 9’ 6wt set up.
1980’s - Worked for Xam Production - Animator and Walt Disney - Cartoonist / Modeler - Suvart.
1992 Got Married to Mindy, have 2 kids and 1 Scottish Terrier (Fergus) the time i wrote this. well our 6th Scottie we had, love the breed.
About mid 1996-97 I took up Golfing and found out my wife’s Uncle is Bruce Summerhays (PGA Professional). In 2000, I became a Golf Teaching Professional (USGTF) and a Professional Golf Coach (WGCA), in 2012 I became a Professional Golfer, member of the National Pro Golf Tour and the Pepsi Pro Tour. Chasing the PGA Card..
Started my Company M-Arts since 1996 to present. Started a scrip comic “Neck of the Woods” and doing Kid books (With Scottie dogs) with my Daughter which are not published, still working on them.
But anyways, I’ve started back in to Fly Fishing and Fly Tying again in 2020, I’m a member of the Fly Fishers International (FFI) And the Bonneville Fly Fishers and hopefully go through the FFI Casting Instructor Certification Program (CI) but thinking about it still and now its time to start my new journey in Fly tying / Fly Fishing maybe go pro in fly tying.
This Bio was a little longer then I thought but you got the idea.
